The Platform Magazine recently celebrated its first year in publication at Times Square, New York City. A night of Inspirational Fashion was the theme of our event. It included hundreds of NYC fashionistas, media and professionals. It was a personal thank you to our featured cover models, writers and supporters for advancing this publication. The Personal journeys and stories that have been shared through the first year of publication are truly inspirational.The defining style fashion show by NYC Designers Ferret Campos and Mariely Pratts were enjoyed and praised by hundreds of our guests. The runway included supermodels from NYC and DC who are featured in this issue. The executive collection 2014 by the designer’s was another example of why everyone wanted to be at this highlighted event. Olga Maria Czarkowski of Dreams in heels our August cover model 2014 was a wonderful host in her hometown of NYC. You can read more about the highlights of this event towards the end of this issue.
This months issue we have David Kimmerle as our cover model. His story of success will not only motivate you, it will wow you. We continue with our Celebrity Chef series with Jason Dady from San Antonio Texas, who shares his wonderful journey about being an executive chef and a delicious recipe for everyone to enjoy. Dr. Eastman continues with her skin sense series. She discusses the proper sunscreen that you should be wearing in these last few days of summer. Featured Selected Make Yes Happen story is SPICY, for prevention and awareness of suicide. Chris Franz our editor features men in pageantry, and their role in the business. Heather Shreve and her amazing true story finding the fire within, which is in the works for an upcoming movie. Dr. Shellie Hipsky, who talks about her doctoral journey and how it has brought her inspiration. We have so many other wonderful true stories to share in this months issue, along with highlights for our NYC Launch event.

Welcome to The Platform Magazine!
The Platform magazine is here to provide inspirational and educational stories from all over the world. Our goal is to create a new forum for exchange of information on all aspects of positivity and inspiration. The past few years I have learned from other individuals from all over the world how to motivate and encourage others to succeed. I have made this personal conscious decision to share these stories with you in this new inspiring magazine. This magazine adheres to both the positive and inspiring spirit, which is shared among other individuals.

The Platform magazine was launched to inspire others with stories that may never be heard. As a scholar professional in biology, sports psychology, physiology and health wellness, I have found that these positive inspiring stories help others mentally to succeed. I would like to encourage you to submit original stories and notes as well as opinions for future magazines.
The platform magazine will be a inspirational resource designed to increase awareness and education of health, and inspiration. Our long- term goal is to continue to work with individuals all over the world and spread the love and peace of inspiring individuals.
