We also talked with legendary magicians and entertainers, Penn & Teller about performing, their CW show Fool Us, and their partnership with Mucinex. 

This month, we had the pleasure of attending a number of NYFW FW24 shows that included NYMD, Prabal Garung, Bishme Cromartie, and Laurence Basse. We give you the inside scoop on what we saw during these shows as well as interviews with Celebrity Nail Artist Gina Edwards for Prabal Garung's show as we talked with her backstage moments before the show started. We also have an indepth interview with fashion designer, Laurence Basse who talks about her line, being a finalist on both Project Runway/Project Runway All-Stars, her recent NYFW FW24, and what's next!

This month's The Art of the Snack comes from Sabai Thai  which is located here in NY in Midtown East. We find out more about  the vibe of this restaurant from phenomenal cocktails, flavorful dishes, and the ambiance of the space which is great to enjoy with friends and family!

We also caught up with NBA Champion and host of All the Smoke, Matt Barnes (previous Athleisure Mag cover for JUN ISSUE #54) as he and his fiance, Anansa Sims debuted The Barnes Bunch this month on WE TV! We talk about why they wanted to make this show, the importance of showcasing their relationship alongside their children as well as Anansa's mother, Beverly Jonhson, and upcoming projects that they have coming up.

We always like to stay with our fitness goals and we have been enjoying getting to workout on and to know more about Lagree Fitness' Micro! We circled back for another interview to talk with the founder of the method as well as the equipment, Sebastien Lagree to find out how we can use this machine, optimizing our time on it, and utilizing Lagree on Demand. We also talked with the CEO of Hyperice, Jim Huether, to find out about their assortment, great devices we should have, and why recovery is so important.

Launching May 2nd, The Idea of You starring Anne Hathaway and Nicholas Galetzine will be available on Prime Video. We had the pleasure of attending the Global Press Conference for this film a few weeks back where we got to find out more information on this movie which was adapted from the book of the same name, how the cast came together for this film, and why telling this story was so important.

We kicked off Awards Season by chatting with Charles Joly globally acclaimed mixologist who created craft cocktails at the Emmy's as Johnnie Walker Blue Label was the official sponsor. We end Awards Season by chatting with him about pouring for the Governors Ball, the after party of the Oscars. We wanted to know more about how he brought the cuisine of his home in Lebanon to NY and elevated it! He gave us his culinary story that is filled with passion, memories, and the need to continue storytelling with each guest that comes to his restaurant. He also talks about how he got into the industry as well as an the importance of connection through his food. We sat down with decorated Team USA Swimming Olympic Medalist, Nathan Adrian. We enjoyed watching him as he participated in the Summer Games of Beijing, London, and Rio. He talked about being a fresstyle swimmer, having teammates that included: Michael Phelps, Ryan Lochte, Matt Grever, Cal Dressel and more! He also told us what he has been up to since then as well as the importance of safe sun!

We caught up with Chef/Partner Charlie Mitchell of Clover Hill in Brooklyn. Recently, he received a Michelin 2022 NYC Young Chef Award - he is the first Black chef in NYC to receive Michelin recognition and only the second in the US! He was also a James Beard finalist this year as well. We talked about how he got into the industry, his passion for cooking, his approach to food and he gives us an inside scoop into the mind of a chef!

Although we’re used to watching FIFA’s World Cup during the summer, it was nice to have it throughout the holiday season as we cheered on our favorite players and countries!
