While preparing for this month’s editor’s note, a quote from my interview with Laurent Lecamp, Managing Director of Montblanc Watch Division, during my trip to Watches & Wonders Geneva came to mind. “First of all, the key to success is to keep in mind that perfection does not exist. We should always try to touch perfection even knowing we will not manage to,” shares Lecamp when quizzed about managing and encouraging creativity from his team. As cliche as that statement already sounds, it liberates and frees up any lingering pressure to attain perfection in our personal and professional pursuits. With this in mind, I present the Men’s Folio May ’24 issue with the theme, Lightness of Being — a sense of freedom to express ourselves.
