Winning accolades for designing unique national costumes for the Miss India contestants, designers Melvyn Noronha and Devashish Majumdar created another international splash at the Miss Teen Continents 2016 USA where their national costume designed for Miss Teen UK Anjali Sinha (and later Miss Teen Continents) was adjudged the best. The costume also brought UK its first International National Costume award in its 62 year-old beauty pageant history. Creating the gown was an artistic labour of love, says Melvyn Noronha in this conversation with Patricia Ann Alvares.
