The English language is full of examples of idioms and metaphors around these pachyderms. If you can have an elephant’s memory, see pink elephants, deal with the elephant in the room, or maintain a white elephant, we can (totally) dedicate an issue to elephants!

2016 was the year that Telegram came into existence. It started off as a small experiment and grew to a slightly less small experiment within no time, winning absolutely no accomplishments and accolades along the way. What it did earn, though, is some goodwill. In keeping with this spirit of thankfulness, we have decided to make this issue about the best of the entries that we’ve received and published.
