To make this novel approach possible, police stations in the Rangareddy district have set up juvenile reception desks and it has brought about a change in the pattern of juvenile crime in the past six months. More as a norm than an exception. Juvenile offenders are made to do odd jobs like helping traffic police in regulation of traffic and working in social forestry projects.
