The June issue of Autocar India is here and you have a lot to look forward to. French carmaker Renault is looking to establish a foothold in the hatchback segment with its new Kwid and we have all the details on it. Looks like the bestselling Maruti Alto has a rival to contend with. Speaking of the Alto, the AMT version of the car now has competition from the new GenX Nano. Tata’s city car has been updated with an AMT gearbox and priced lower than the Alto. We pit them against each other to tell you which of the world's most affordable automatics is the better one. We also went to Spain to sample the baby of Jaguar's range, the new XE sedan. A number of models have been updated in the Indian market – Tata Safari Storme, Hyundai Elantra and the Audi RS7 – and we've hopped in to cover all the changes. Our other stints for this month include experiences in the new Audi Q7, the Skoda Octavia RS, BMW’s M3 and M4 and Porsche’s GTS range. Also, in a battle of hot hatches, we took the Mini Cooper S and the Abarth 595 Competizione for a night-out around Mumbai city. In the two-wheelers section, we rode the fabled Ducati Monster and two Aprilias. Not to forget, two new Pulsars – the AS 150 and AS 200, have been completely detailed.
