Welcome to issue #73 of the GameOn Magazine!
The heating has gone on here at the offices, which
means winter is coming -- though I suppose
that only applies to one of our reviews…
Leading the articles is something a little different from
Emsey, VodkaVK writes about gaming mechanics
and Miguel gives us another report on an F2P title.
The Solus Project and Battleborn have their gamescom
previews by Ryan and Reece respectively, Pollen
and Kathy Rain come from Luke and Dom, with
Fallout 4, Mafia III, Sonder and Need for Speed
fleshing out most of the rest of the section.
We also previewed Tales of Zestiria, Bounty
Train is from Alex, with an interview with
Battleborn producer Chris Thomas by Reece,
rounding off the first half of the magazine.
What follows are some of the biggest AAA titles, with
a few indies scattered about them, in a great spread
of reviews. We have Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom
Pain, Calum was driven Mad Max, Alex returned to
Westeros with the penultimate Game of Thrones
Episode 5, Evoland II evolved Miguel, VodkaVK read
too much into The Legend of Kay Anniversary and
explored London in Zombi, and Christian played
Trine 3 whilst Ian had a go with Blood Bowl II.
