In dieser Angelegenheit

With The Great British Land Rover Show at Newark on our doorstep, the July issue of The Landy is here and it comes with a whole heap of show attendee information, the official show guide and, as always, 100% Land Rover content.
Off-roaders are being asked to heed the warnings from GLASS over the Lower Claerwen byway where the rock sections have become increasingly extreme. Drivers have been going off-piste in order to avoid this and it’s causing serious damage to the adjacent land. Offenders may well be caught on camera and face prosecution in the near future if they don’t desist.
Range Rover Electric are closing in on a launch date as their prototypes are being tested in the extreme climate of the Arctic Circle. JLR have promised this car will be the ‘quietest and most refined example of the breed ever created’ so count us in as members of the we-can’t-wait-to-try-it-out club!

Home comforts in the back of 2007 Puma? Yes indeed! And owner Lewis Maynard brought this fine example of a Land Rover camper to the recent Great British Land Rover Show Bath & West for all to see and be in envy of. See it for yourself from page 14.

Looking to delve into a tale of triumph, tragedy and the strength of the human spirit? Meet Charlie, the Series II whose story is strewn with emotion and slow progress but ends with a heartfelt restoration as significant as this Landy’s name.

For buying tips, the latest news and reviews plus more articles full to brimming with everything Land Rover, get the July issue of The Landy today.

We’ve also got a unique Range Rover TD5 this month. Yes, you read that right. A late four-door, it’s been completely restored… around the entire powertrain from a Disco 2. And it’s probably got most of its life still ahead of it.

Elsewhere in this issue, news of resurgent sales from Land Rover’s dealerships as the global microchip shortage starts to ease, and a celebratory Defender 90 from Bowler – as well as best practice in green lane stewardship in the Lake District, the latest and best new products and, er, creme brûlée. Land Rovers go anywhere in more ways than one…
